Traveling Blocks
GOI traveling blocks are designed and manufactured according to API Spec 8C specification. Sheave grooves are hardened by medium frequency induction quenching to maximize service life. The side plates made of heavy steel provide a sufficient weight so that the wireline is kept taut when hoisting and lowering the empty elevator, which facilitates the drum to wrap the line, speeds up the lowering of the unloaded tackle and prolongs the line service life. Sheaves and bearings of the traveling block can be interchanged with those of the crown block.
